Why Rodents are dangerous
Rodents carry diseases such as leptospirosis, salmonellosis, and plague through their urine, droppings, and fleas. Their gnawing on electrical cables is also a common cause of short circuits and fires.

Rodents are nocturnal and breed extremely fast — a pair of house mice can produce hundreds of offspring in a year. They travel along wall edges on fixed runways, gnaw constantly to wear down their teeth, and are wary of new objects (neophobia), so bait placement requires strategy.
