For some people, cockroaches are considered a scary animal, especially when they can fly. The question is, can all cockroaches fly?
Not all cockroaches can fly. Those that are able to fly usually have wings that are long enough to develop their flying ability. Several types of cockroaches are known to fly, some of which are the American cockroach, German cockroach, Pennsylvania forest cockroach, brown cockroach, winged brown cockroach, Australian cockroach, Asian cockroach, and Cuban cockroach.
A number of the above cockroaches live in various climates, although most prefer to stay at home. Their color varies from light brown, dark brown, reddish brown, golden, while the Cuban cockroach is bright leaf green. The ability to fly in these insects is also determined by age and gender. Immature cockroaches usually cannot fly because they do not have wings. Certain female cockroaches are also unable to fly, despite having wings.
Flying is not really a cockroach's primary ability, in fact cockroaches are not flying insects and only a few of them do it. They get nervous in the air and can't control their bodies. ● Find an area with a temperature that makes it comfortable
Cockroaches are cold-blooded animals so they have a fairly low ideal temperature, which is around 23 C-2900 C. When it exceeds its maximum limit, the cockroach will choose an area with a lower temperature. If it is at a high altitude, then the cockroach will choose to fly in order to reach it.
