1. Subterranean Termites

3. Wetwood Termites
Wetwood termites generally occupy wood that is decaying due to moisture and wetness. This type of termite is in contrast to drywood termites because this type will prefer to look for decaying wood to eat. An example of this termite is Glyptotermes.
