Covid-19 cases are on the rise again. After Singapore and Malaysia, Indonesia has also reported a significant increase in cases. Initially recorded 30 to 40 cases a week, but now weekly cases reached 267 patients in the period November 28 to December 2, 2023.

In addition to the Singapore and Malaysian Ministries of Health advising their people to remain vigilant at the re-emergence of covid-19 cases in the lion country, the Indonesian Ministry of Health also gave an appeal to the public to remain careful and asked the public to adhere to the Covid-19 health protocol, if they feel sick, residents are expected to immediately have the awareness to wear masks, especially in public areas.

The increase in Covid-19 cases at the end of 2023 is thought to be a new variant that triggers the transmission rate or transmission faster and easier to infect. The public needs to be vigilant if they experience symptoms of disease that lead to Covid-19, namely cough, runny nose, fever, and respiratory problems. If they experience this, residents are urged to immediately conduct an antigen test.

The current increase in Covid-19 cases is not a cause for concern as the number of deaths, patients admitted or seriously ill has not changed, below 5 cases per week.

The Ministry of Health urges the public to postpone traveling to countries that have a record of high Covid-19 cases at this time. This is a form of vigilance. To avoid panic, the public is expected to complete booster vaccinations, especially those who have only received one and two doses of the Covid-19 vaccine.

As one of the efforts to protect against the Covid-19 outbreak, Indonesians can also protect buildings by providing or using disinfectants. Choose Disinfectant Spraying Services that are safe and done by professional experts.
