When you are fast asleep, ants can crawl on your body. Especially if you haven't cleaned yourself after eating. Ants can also crawl into all parts of the body including the ear holes.

When ants get into your ear, they may die immediately or they may stay alive and keep moving around inside. It is certainly annoying and can be uncomfortable. While in most cases, ants entering the ear will not cause significant problems, sometimes the condition can lead to complications. Remember, don't insert anything else into the ear to remove the ants, as this can push the insects further into the ear.

It is important to remain calm when trying to remove ants from the ear. While having ants in your ear is annoying and worrisome, panicking and worrying will only make the situation more difficult. Avoid digging cotton swabs or other objects into the ear. This can push the ants further into the eardrum potentially causing injury and hearing loss.

Here's how you can get ants out of your ears:

- Tilt your head to the affected side (the ear with the ants is on the bottom) and gently shake your head to dislodge the insects. Do not bang on the ear, as this may cause additional problems.

- If the ants are still not out, try pouring olive oil or baby oil into the ear to repel them. The oil should be warm, but not hot. Do not use oil to remove foreign objects in the ear other than insects.

- Another way to remove ants from the ear is to pour vegetable oil into the ear to suffocate them. After that, try to remove the ants by using warm water.

The best way to get ants out of the ear is to see a doctor as soon as possible, rather than trying to get them out at home. Prevention of pests also needs to be done inside the house. Insect spraying services can be the right solution to solve pest problems.
