Ants, who is not familiar with this one pest? its existence is very often found in various places. But, did you know that ants are one of the strongest types of insects?

This little animal is not to be underestimated. For the relatively small size of an ant, a worker ant can lift an object that is 5-10 times its body weight. Not only that, ants can also pull an object that weighs 20-50 times heavier than the ant itself.

Then, what is the reason why ants can lift weights that are heavier than their body size?

Ants have muscles that are very thick compared to their body area, so they are able to lift weights that are many times greater than their own body weight. Plus, they work together with their colony to move even larger objects.

As small organisms, ants have proportionally more muscles, making it easy for ants to generate enormous force to carry heavy foods. By comparison, elephants are only able to support loads weighing twice their own body weight. This is because elephants have a large size, but the proportion of muscle mass is quite low.

Not only in terms of strength, ants are also a type of insect that can survive longer. Queen of ants of the species Pogonomyrmex Owyhee can live up to 30 years.

If you have a problem with ants that are difficult to remove, you can use Ant Extermination Services or Pest Control Indonesia which can eliminate ants to their nests. This Indonesian Pest Control Service can solve the ant problem by looking for paths and ant nests such as in cracks in the wall and then treating them so that the ants die to their nests.
