A clean and seemingly tidy home doesn't mean there are no mosquitoes nesting. Some nooks and crannies in the house can be a nesting ground for mischievous mosquitoes and their spread is alarming.

What homeowners don't realize is that mosquitoes can also nest in an aquarium that no longer has fish in it. Aquariums that are left with only water can become mosquito nests. It doesn't take a lot of water, 1 CC of standing water in an aquarium can quickly become a breeding ground for mosquitoes.

Mosquitoes can lay eggs in still water. If the fish pond or aquarium at home does not have fish, the water does not move. To overcome this, create a stream or shower to create water movement. This can help limit the chances of mosquitoes laying eggs in still water. A shower in the aquarium can also increase aeration in the pond so that the fish and ornamental plants in it become healthier.

Apart from aquariums or fish ponds, adult mosquitoes can also breed in warm areas such as bushes or plants around the pond. This can potentially lead to the mosquitoes laying eggs in the fish pond. If the mosquito population is getting more and more uncontrollable, you can use Mosquito Repellent Services / Pest Control Indonesia that use insecticides with safe ingredients when used on living things such as fish, plants and other living things.
