Do you have a lot of ants in your house? Despite the ubiquity of ants, people can still be surprised or even horrified to see a line of ants crawling along the kitchen bench or other place.

The presence of ants is often a problem in the home, especially when they swarm around food, damage walls, or even bite the skin. Sometimes the presence of ant swarms annoys humans under certain conditions. For example, if your cooked food is suddenly invaded by a swarm of ants, of course you have to get rid of the little insects immediately.

By understanding the root of the problem, we can take the right steps to get rid of ants without harming the surrounding environment. One of the right steps is to call an **ant extermination service**. By doing so, we can create an inhospitable environment for ants, so that they will not return and disrupt daily life in the house.

Ants can enter the house not only when there is food. There are several things that cause ants to be in the house, such as:

- The presence of food odors is a major factor in ants entering the house. Even if you are far away, leftovers on the table or floor or food or drinks left open can invite ants in.

- Houses that are close to trees, especially those with back gardens, attract ants to find food in them. This allows insects from plants or trees to easily enter the house.

- Weather factors can determine whether ants enter the house. Very hot weather makes ants enter the house to find a cooler place. Meanwhile, rainy weather makes conditions humid, which makes the ants in the ground finally come out to find a dry place.

- Finding a cozy place to take shelter is a factor in ants staying in the house.

- Cracks in walls, crevices in tiles or hollow floors are the most favored places for ants to build nests.

- Humidity of the home environment Lack of air circulation in the home can be a cause of ant presence, so it is important to open doors or windows to avoid excess moisture.

- The condition of the house is dirty with lots of garbage, scattered food scraps, and animal carcasses make the ants come.
