The color of this wasp is predominantly black or red-brown with a yellow or orange bracelet on its abdomen. Vespa affinis wasps or Ndas wasps live in subtropical Asia, such as Hong Kong, Taiwan, Sri Lanka, Burma, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Indonesia.
